Title: French Clay Masque
Categories: Mask *
Yield: 1 Mask
1 | tb | Clay powder |
2 | To 3 ts distilled water |
Clay has been used for centuries in beauty treatments to pull pollutants out of the skin and refine the skin's texture. This mask also makes a wonderful full-body treatment.
In a small ceramic bowl mix together the clay and water, adding the water 1 ts at a time until you have a smooth paste. With your fingers, apply the clay mask all over your face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Relax and let the mask dry completely, about 20 minutes.
Wash the mask off with warm water followed by a cold water rinse. Allow your pores to close completely and apply moisturizer.
Note: This mask also works well for "spot" treatments. Simply mix up a small batch and apply directly to blemishes on your face. Allow to dry and then rinse off. If you wish a full-body mask, simply use more clay and add the water proportionately until you have a smooth paste.
