Title: Swedish Rose Hip Mask
Categories: Mask
Yield: 2 Ounces
8 | To 10 fresh or dried rose hips | |
1/4 | c | Distilled water |
Rose hips are rich in vitamin C (they contain 40% more vitamin C than oranges) and make a facial mask that is perfect for clearing the skin of blemishes.
If using dried rose hips: Place the rose hips in a ceramic container and cover with the water. Let soak until soft, a few hours or overnight.
If using fresh rose hips: Place rose hips in a ceramic container and cover with the water. You do not need to let them soak.
Pour the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth. If you do not have a blender, mash the rose hips by hand until you have a smooth paste. Spread on your face and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water and splash your face with rosewater. Pat your skin dry.
