1/2	c	Finely grated castile soap
2	ts	Borax powder
1	ts	Baking soda
1	tb	Dried basil leaves

Basil gives the hair luster and shine. This shampoo powder is especially convenient when traveling because it is so light and compact. For extra highlighting, blondes may want to add a little chamomile to this powder, and brunettes can add rosemary or lavender.

Mix together all ingredients. Store in an airtight container. To use, pour a small amount into your palm and add a little water to form a paste. Massage into your scalp and through your hair. Rinse well and follow with a good conditioner.
