The following is a list of rinses to try after you shampoo and as a final rinse. Remember to always rinse your hair with the cooles water you can stand for at least 1 full minute after using these rinses. Each recipe makes enough for one application.
Lemon juice: The juice of 1 lemon and 1 cup water, mixed, brings back life and shine to dull hair.
Baking soda: 1 tablespoon baking soda and 1 cup water, mixed, removes hair spray and gel residue.
Apple cider vinegar: 1/2 cup vinegar and 2 cups water, mixed, gives your hair shine and bounce.
Beer: 1 can or bottle of beer gives body to your hair. Never throw out flat beer - save it for your hair.
Tomato juice: 1 cup of tomato juice will remove any odors, such as smoke, from your hair.
