Title: Chocolate Crisp Bars

1/2 | c | Butter |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
2 | Eggs | |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
3/4 | c | Flour |
1/2 | c | Pecans -- chopped |
2 | tb | Unsweetened cocoa |
1/4 | tb | Baking powder |
2 | c | Tiny marshmallows |
1 | c | Semi sweet chips |
1 | c | Peanut butter |
1 1/2 | c | Rice Krispie cereal |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
Cream butter and sugar; beat eggs and vanilla. Stir together flour, chopped nuts, cocoa, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Stir into egg mixture. Spread in bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake at 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until bars test done. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly atop bake 3 minutes. Cool. In small saucepan combine chocolate with peanut butter. Cook and stir over low heat until chocolate is melted. Stir in cereal. Spread mixture atop cool bars and chill cut in bars. Refrigerate. Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
