Mix together and let stand overnight. Drain and rinse.
Õ4 c. vinegar 2 tsp. mustard seed 1 tsp. celery seed 1 1/2 tsp. tumeric 6 c. sugar 2 c. water Õ Mix these contents together and stir, heating until sugar melts. Pour over cabbage mixture and stir. Let come to a boil and boil for approximately 10 minutes. Put in hot, clean jars and seal.
Yield: approximately 7 pints.
