Title: Famous Durgin-Park Corn Bread

3/4 | c | Sugar |
2 | Eggs | |
3/4 | ts | Salt |
1 1/2 | c | Milk |
2 | c | Flour |
1 | c | Cornmeal |
1 | tb | Baking Powder |
1 | tb | Melted Butter |
Mix sugar with beaten eggs. Sift flour, salt and cornmeal together. Add melted butter and milk. Beat up very quickly and bake in a large buttered pan in a very hot oven (450 degrees).
