Title: Braised Red Onions

1 | oz | Butter/margarine |
4 | lg | Red onions, thinly sliced |
Salt & freshly ground black - pepper |
Melt the butter in heavy-based pot over a moderate heat. Add the onions & cook gently till translucent. Season, then cover & simmer over a very low heat for 20 minutes. Stir & transfer to a warmed serving dish.
