8 | lg | Fresh shiitake mushrooms |
2 | tb | Vegetable oil |
1 | tb | Mirin or sweet sherry |
1 | tb | Soy sauce |
1/2 | ts | Sugar |
Cut off and discard tough mushroom stems and cut caps into wedges. Heat oil in skillet. Add mushrooms and stir-fry until almost tender. Add mirin, soy sauce and sugar and toss to coat mushrooms.
