Title: Curried Apples

2 | | Apples,cut into 1/4" rings |
2/3 | c | Dry red wine |
1/4 | c | Butter or margarine,melted |
1/4 | c | Brown sugar,packed |
1/4 | ts | Curry powder |
Soak apple rings in wine in covered shallow boal or baking dish 3 hours,
stirring occasionally; drain.
Set oven control to broil and/or 550'. Place apple rings on rack in broiler
pan. Broil rings 5 inches from heat 3 minutes; turn.
Mix remaining ingredients; spoon over rings. Broil until glazed and light
brown, about 1 1/2 minutes.
