4 | | Med onions; peeled and quart |
1/4 | c | Chopped mushrooms |
3 | | Tomatoes; peeled seeded chop |
1 | | Clove garlic; mashed through |
1/2 | ts | Sage |
1/2 | ts | Basil |
1 | tb | Minced celery leaves |
1/4 | c | Defatted chicken or vegetabl |
Toss all of the ingredients into a round, medium sized casserole dish and
combine well. Cover and microwave on full power until the onions are just
tender, about 5 minutes. Let the onions stand for 3 minutes before lifting
the cover nd serving. The onions are even tastier when reheated and eaten
the second day. Great as a side dish to turkey or roast pork. Printed in
