1 1/2 | lb | Ground beef, chicken, or turkey |
2 | c | Water |
1 | tb | Chili powder |
1 | tb | Curry powder |
3 | | Diced tomatoes |
4 | c | Cooked kidney beans or pinto beans |
1 | | Chopped onion |
1 | | Bunch sliced green onions |
1 1/2 | c | Grated natural sharp cheese, or mild cheddar cheese |
In a frying pan, saute meat until lightly browned. POur off
drippings. Add water, chili, and curry powder; simmer 5
minutes. Add tomatoes and beans; heat through. Stir inonions.
Ladle into serving bowls and sprinkle on cheese.
