Title: Whole Wheat Pie Dough

Yield: 1 Servings
1 1/2 | c | Whole wheat pastry flour |
1/2 | ts | Sea salt |
1/2 | c | Canola or safflower oil plus 1 t |
3 | tb | ;ice water; plus 1 1/2 t |
Put the flour and salt in a bowl and stir together. Add theoil and water and stir until it forms a crumbly meal.Gatherup thedough intoa ball. (The dough will be moist.) Press the dough evenly and firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch or 10-inch pie plate so it rises about 1/2 inch above the edge of the pie plate. Flute the edges of the crust, if desired.
