Clean and pare potatoes, grate, squeeze out. Pour out liquid.
Combine grated potatoes with starch settled on the bottom, with grated
onion and salt. Shape into uniform balls.
Heat part of fat in skillet, place potato balls in hot fat, flatten with
a spoon, shape.
Fry to golden color on both sides over high flame, add fat when
necessary. Serve immediately after frying while they are crispy.
Serve with mustard, horseradish, salads.
