3/4 | lb | Lean ground beef |
1/2 | lb | Lean ground pork |
1 | sm | Onion; chopped |
1 | | Clove garlic; minced |
16 | oz | Can tomatoes; cut up |
8 | oz | Can tomato sauce |
1 | | Beef bouillon cube; crushed |
1 | tb | Parsley flakes |
2 | ts | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Basil |
Brown meats and cook onion and garlic in large skillet or slow-cooking pot
with browning unit. Combine mixture in a crockpot with remaining
ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. This will make enough
sauce for a lasagne casserole that will feed 8 to 10.
