1 | lb | Lean ground beef |
1 | | Envelope spaghetti sauce mix |
30 | oz | Canned tomato sauce |
1 | lb | Sharp cheddar cheese; shredd |
8 | oz | Mozzarella cheese; shredded |
2 | tb | Cornstarch |
1/2 | c | Dry red wine |
In skillet, brown beef until crumbly; drain off fat. In crockpot, combine
beef, sauce mix, tomato sauce, and cheeses. Cover and cook on low for 2
hours. Dissolve cornstarch with wine. Turn control to high and add
cornstarch/wine mixture. Heat 10 to 15 minutes. Have a loaf of italian
bread handing for dipping. Keep sauce hot.
