Combine the strawberries and sugar in the bowl of a food processor and puls
to a coarse puree. In a medium bowl, whisk the cream until frothy, about 30
seconds. Whisk in the vanilla, then the strawberry puree. Prepare the ice
cream in an ice-cream maker according to manufacturers directions. Store th
ice cream in the freezer, where it has a shelf life of about 1 week.
