1 1/8 | c | Tap water |
2 5/8 | c | All purpose flour |
3/8 | c | Wheat bran |
1 1/2 | ts | Salt |
3 | tb | Sugar |
1 1/2 | tb | Butter |
1 1/2 | tb | Dry milk |
1 1/2 | ts | Dry yeast (BREAD) |
2 | ts | Dry yeast (BREAD RAPID) |
Makes 1-1/2 lb loaf. Place ingredients in pan according to manufacturer's
directions. (Hitachi wants liquids, flour, then yeast) Place pan in machine, press start.
**NOTE** Fry the wheat bran in a pan a 320F until they brown slightly (about 10 minutes) then allow to cool before they are used.
