Title: Almond Snowdrifts

2 | Egg whites | |
1 | c | Sugar |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 1/2 | c | Finely chopped almonds |
1 | tb | Flour |
1. Preheat oven to 325°. Lightly flour cookie sheets.
2. Beat egg whites unti stiff but not dry. Beat in sugar 2 tablespoons at a time. Fold salt, vanilla, almonds and flour into egg whites until well blended.
3. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2" apart on cookie sheets. Bake 15-17 mintues; remove from sheets while still warm.
