Title: Shredded Beef with Pepper and Onion

Yield: 4 Servings
7 | oz | Beef; shredded |
1 | c | Onion |
Sprinkle beef with: | ||
2 | ts | Sesame oil |
1 | tb | Saki |
1 | ts | Cornstarch |
1/4 | ts | Baking soda |
1 | tb | Soy sauce |
1/4 | ts | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Chili paste; optional |
Marinade 30 minutes. |
Heat 3 Tablespoons oil in pan and add 3/4 teaspoon salt. Stir in onion and stir fry for 2 minutes. Remove from pan. If you are using a wok, push onions up on the sides.
Add pepper and stir fry 2 minutes and remove from pan or push up again on the sides.
Heat 3 Tablespoons oil in same pan and add beef. Stir fry until the color changes. Add vegetables and mix well for 1 minute.
NOTES : Add chili paste at the very end. Otherwise it will be too hot.
