Title: Store and Bake Muffins

1cQuick-cooking oats
1cAll-branŠ cereal
1cButtermilk
1/2cBrown sugar
1/4cVegetable oil
1/2cApplesauce
2 Eggs
1cFlour
1tsBaking powder
1/2tsBaking soda
1/2tsSalt

Combine oats, bran cereal and buttermilk. Let stand 5 minutes to soften cereal. Stir in brown sugar, oil and applesauce. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Mix until just blended. Microwave 1 Muffin - 30 to 45 seconds; 2 Muffins - 45 to 60 seconds; 3 Muffins - 60 to 75 seconds; 6 Muffins - 2 to 2 1/2 minutes. Makes 24 muffins. If desired, add 1 cup raisins or chopped dates or 1/2 cup raisins and 1/2 cup chopped nuts to batter.
