Title: Warm Smoked Pecans

1cSugar
4cWhole pecans
1/2cMansion barbecue spice mix; recipe follows
  Mansion barbecue spice mix:
1 1/4cPaprika; plus 2 tablespoons
3tbChili powder
1tbGround cumin
1tbGround coriander
1tbSugar
1tbSalt
1 1/2tsDry mustard
1 1/2tsBlack pepper
1 1/2tsDried thyme leaves
1 1/2tsCurry powder
1 1/2tsCayenne pepper

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place sugar in a medium saucepan and add 4 cups water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Add pecans and cook for 5 minutes. Remove nuts and drain. Place nuts in a greased sheet tray and sprinkle barbecue spice mixture. Place tray in oven and roast for 15 minutes. , stirring nuts occasionally. Remove tray from oven and transfer to smoker. Smoke for 10 minutes. Serve warm.

For mansion barbecue spice mix: Mix all of the ingredients together. Store in a cool, dry place .
