Title: Mom's Brownies

Yield: 24 Servings
1/3 | c | Butter; no margarine |
2 | 1 oz squares chocolate; unsweetened | |
2 | lg | Island eggs |
1 | c | Sugar |
2/3 | c | Flour |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Baking powder |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1/2 | c | Macadamia nuts; chopped* |
* other nuts may be substituted Melt butter and chocolate over double boiler. In a medium bowl, beat eggs. Add sugar gradually, beating well. Blend in chocolate mixture. Sift dry ingredients and blend into mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Bake in a greased 8x8x2 inch pan for 20-25 minutes at 350 degree oven. Cool before cutting into squares.
