Title: Jack-O-Lantern Pie

1 1/2 | c | Reduced fat oreoŠ cookie crumbs |
1/4 | c | Reduced fat margarine; melted |
3 | tb | Granulated sugar |
Filling: | ||
3 | oz | Orange gelatin powder |
1 | c | Water; boiling |
2 | c | Low-fat vanilla ice cream; slightly softened |
6 | Pieces candy corn | |
2 | Pieces black licorice strips |
To prepare crust, combine crumbs, margarine, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Press mixture firmly in a 9" pie pan. To prepare filling, combine orange gelatin powder and boiling water in a mixing bowl. Stir until dissolved, about 2 minutes. Add ice cream to gelatin. Stir until ice cream is melted and mixture is smooth. Place in refrigerator and chill until slightly thick, about 10 minutes. Remove from refrigerator and pour mixture into pie crust. Chill two hours, or until firm.
