Title: Philadelphia Cheese Steak Sandwich (Lower Fat)

Nonstick butter-flavored cooking spray | ||
1 | c | Thinly sliced onion rings |
1/2 | c | Thinly sliced green bell pepper |
1/2 | c | Thinly sliced red bell pepper |
12 | oz | Swanky flanky steak; very thinly sliced |
4 | French or hoagie-style rolls, halved lengthwise | |
4 | oz | Reduced-fat cheddar or muenster cheese, thinly sliced |
Coat nonstick medium skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat. Add onion and bell peppers. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 to 3 minutes, adding a little water from time to time to prevent sticking and overbrowning. Preheat broiler. Divide sliced flank steak over opened rolls. Cover with onion mixture. Top with cheese. Broil, close to heat source, 1 minute or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
