Title: Light Alfredo Pasta

1smOnion;, diced
1 Garlic clove;, minced
2tsVegetable oil
2cSkim milk
1cChicken broth
3tbFlour
1/2tsSalt
1/2tsCoarse black pepper
1/2cGrated parmesan cheese
  ** pasta **
1lbPenne or other pasta
16ozBroccoli florets

Cook onion, and garlic clove in vegetable oil over medium heat until golden. Mix skim milk, chicken broth, flour, salt and pepper; stir into onion mixture until thickened. Stir in cheese. After pasta has cooked 9 minutes add broccoli to cooking water. Typed by Ethel Snyder Date August 17, 1997
