2cGranulated sugar
3/4cMaple syrup
1/4cWater
2 Egg whites; beaten
 pnSalt
1tsVanilla
1cPeanuts

Cook sugar, syrup, and water together until mixture threads from the spoon (230 to 234 degrees). Beat egg whites with salt in a cold bowl. When they are stiff, beat in syrup gradually. Add vanilla and peanuts. Pour in buttered tins and cool. Cut in squares.
