1/2 | c | Butter, softened |
1 | c | Sugar |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
2 | | Eggs |
1 1/4 | c | Unsifted all-purpose flour |
1/8 | ts | Baking soda |
3/4 | c | Hershey's Chocolate syrup |
1 | c | Reese's peanut butter chips |
Cream butter or margarine, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well. Combine
flour and baking soda; add alternately with chocolate syrup to creamed
mixture. Stir in peanut butter chips. Pour batter into greased 13 x 9 x
2-inch pan; bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Cool; frost with peanut butter
brownie frosting. Makes 24 brownies Peanut Butter Brownie Frosting:
Combine 1/3 cup sugar, 1/4 cup evaporated milk and 2 Tbsp. butter in a
small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil;
remove from heat. Quickly stir in 1 cup Reese's peanut butter chips until
melted; add 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat to spreading consistancy; frost brownies.
