Title: Trade-Winds Salad

12 | oz | Shell-shaped macaroni, uncooked |
2 | tb | Butter or margarine |
1/4 | c | Brown sugar |
1 | c | Cubed ham |
8 | oz | Can pineapple chuncks, undrained |
1 | c | Cubed cheddar cheese |
1/2 | c | Grapes |
1/4 | c | Mayonnaise |
1/4 | c | Sour cream |
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Rinse with cold water to
cool quickly. Drain well. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and brown
sugar. Add ham and cook until ham is lightly browned. In a large bowl toss
pasta, ham, cheese and grapes. Drain pineapple, reserving 2 tb liquid. Add
chunks to pasta mixture. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream and reserved juice.
Blend well. Pour dressing over pasta mixture. Toss lightly. Refrigerate.
