4 | lb | Mature green mangoes |
1 | lg | Onion |
8 | oz | Green gingerroot, peeled |
2 | | Garlic cloves |
3 | lb | Brown sugar |
2 | oz | Yellow chili peppers |
3 | ts | Salt |
4 | c | Vinegar |
2 | lb | Currants |
2 | lb | Raisins |
Force magoes, onion, gingerroot and garlic through food chopper, using
coarse blade. Add remaining ingredients and let stand overnight. Bring to a
boil and boil rapidly until thick. Pour into hot sterilized pint jars, and
