Title: Bavarian Suasage and Apple Muffins

1 1/4cFlour
1/2cRye flour
1tbBrown sugar
3tbBaking powder
1tsBaking soda
1/2tsPepper
1/2tsAllspice
1/2tsCelery seed
1/2cGrated raw potato
1/3cGrated raw onion
1tsCider vinegar
1cDiced raw apple
3/4cDrained cooked sausage
2 Eggs
1tbSherry
3tbMelted butter
1cButtermilk

Mix together dry ingredients. Sprinkle grated potato and onion with the vinegar. add to dry ingredients with apples and sausage. Whisk wet ingredients together. Make a well in center of drys and add very quickly the wet ingredients stirring quickly only to blend. Batter will be lumpy. Fill into greased muffin cups and bake 375 20 to 25 minutes or lightly browned. A main course muffin.
