Title: Savory Pasta and Cheese - Kathleen Conley

Yield: 4 Servings
8 | oz | Cavatelle pasta, cooked |
1/2 | c | Butter |
1 | c | Carrots;sliced thin |
1 | c | Celery;sliced thin |
1/2 | c | Chopped green onion |
1/4 | c | Flour |
1 | ts | Mustard |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
2 | c | Milk |
1 1/2 | c | Sharp Cheddar cheese;grated |
1/2 | c | Sour Cream |
Saute vegetables in butter. Add flour & seasonings. Stir till smooth. Remove from heat, add milk gradually, stirring until smooth. Simmer 3 minutes. Add cheese, stir till melted. Mix with pasta and sour cream. Heat 1 minute.
