Title: Date and Banana Chutney

Yield: 4 Servings

12 Bananas, sliced
3cOnions, finely chopped
1cWell packed dates, chopped
2cVinegar
2tsCurry powder
1cGinger, finely chopped
1tbSalt
2cBrown sugar or molasses

Put the bananas, onions and dates in a heavy pot, pour the vinegar over and cook until tender. Beat to a pulp and add the curry powder, ginger, salt, and molasses.
