Title: Date and Banana Chutney

12 | Bananas, sliced | |
3 | c | Onions, finely chopped |
1 | c | Well packed dates, chopped |
2 | c | Vinegar |
2 | ts | Curry powder |
1 | c | Ginger, finely chopped |
1 | tb | Salt |
2 | c | Brown sugar or molasses |
Put the bananas, onions and dates in a heavy pot, pour the vinegar over and cook until tender. Beat to a pulp and add the curry powder, ginger, salt, and molasses.
