Title: Apple Noodle Pudding

8 | oz | Fine egg noodles |
4 | tb | Butter |
4 | md | Apples; peel, cut in eighths |
1 | c | Seedless Raisins |
2 | tb | Sugar |
1 | pn | Salt |
2 | pn | Cinnamon |
Cook noodles in rapidly boiling salted water until tender. Drain and rinse. Melt 1 tb butter in a baking dish. Place half the noodles in the bottom of the dish. On top of the noodles make a layer of the apples and raisins, and sprinkle with sugar and salt and cinnamon. Make a top layer with the rest of the noodles, dot with butter, and bake in moderate oven (350^ F) for 30 minutes until the apples are soft and the noodles are brown. Serves six.
