1/2 | c | Water |
6 | Eggs | |
1 | pn | Salt |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 | pt | Whipped cream |
1 | cn | Flaked coconut |
2 | pk | Frozen raspberries -- |
Thawed | ||
Unflavored gelatin |
Soften gelatin in water. Whip egg whites to a froth with a pinch of salt, then until peaks form. Slowly mix in gelatin, and vanilla being sure that it is well mixed. Whip cream and fold into gelatin mixture.=20 Butter a springform pan. Press most of the coconut onto sides and bottom of pan. Pour in whipped cream mixture. Top with rest of coconut.=20 Chill for 4-5 hours until completely set. Unmold on large palte and dribble with berries, placing more around edges. Serve immediately.=20
