Title: Hearty Turkey Stew

Yield: 6 Servings

1lbGround turkey, lean
1 1/4cOnion; chopped
2cCarrots; sliced
1cGreen bell pepper
1cMushrooms, fresh; sliced
1cnCut green beans, 16oz; drain
1cnCorn, 16oz; drain
3 Celery stalks; sliced
1cnTomato juice, 46oz
2tsSugar
1tsCelery seed
  Salt and pepper to taste

Brown ground meat; drain. Mix with remianing ingedients in a large pot. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer covered 30 min; stirring occasionally. Cool and freeze. To prepare for serving: Thaw stew. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 min, or microwave until warmed. This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled. You can use ground beef instead of turkey for a Ground Beef Stew.

Per serving: 358 cal; 19 g pro, 37g carb, 17g fat (40%)
