Title: Hearty Turkey Stew

Yield: 6 Servings
1 | lb | Ground turkey, lean |
1 1/4 | c | Onion; chopped |
2 | c | Carrots; sliced |
1 | c | Green bell pepper |
1 | c | Mushrooms, fresh; sliced |
1 | cn | Cut green beans, 16oz; drain |
1 | cn | Corn, 16oz; drain |
3 | Celery stalks; sliced | |
1 | cn | Tomato juice, 46oz |
2 | ts | Sugar |
1 | ts | Celery seed |
Salt and pepper to taste |
Brown ground meat; drain. Mix with remianing ingedients in a large pot. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer covered 30 min; stirring occasionally. Cool and freeze. To prepare for serving: Thaw stew. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 min, or microwave until warmed. This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled. You can use ground beef instead of turkey for a Ground Beef Stew.
