Title: Spinach Swirl Turkey Loaf

1 | pk | Premium lean fresh ground turkey, about 1 1/4lb |
1/2 | c | Dry bread crumbs |
1/2 | c | Onion; finely chopped |
3/4 | ts | Oregano |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
2 | ts | Worcestershire |
8 | oz | Tomato sauce |
1 | | Egg; slightly beaten |
9 | oz | Pkg frozen chopped spinach thawed, well drained |
1 | oz | Cheddar; shredded, <1/4c> |
1/4 | c | Parsley; fresh, chopped |
Heat oven 350. Lightly grease 9x5 inch loaf pan. In medium bowl combine
ground turkey, bread crumbs, onion, oregano, salt, worcestershire sauce,
1/3c tomato sauce and egg; mix well. On foil, form turkey mixture into 12x8
inch rectangle. Place spinach evenly on top of turkey mixture; sprinkle
with cheese. Roll up tightly, starting with short end. Carefully place in
greased pan, seam side down. Press gently to seal edges. Bake at 350 for
55-65 mins or until turkey is browned. Spoon remaining tomato sauce over
top of loaf; sprinkle with parsley. Bake an additional 5 mins. Let stand 10
mins before slicing. Per serving: 229 cals, 39% cals from fat, 24g prot,
