3/4 | lb | Sirloin steak |
1 | tb | Vegetable oil |
1 | | Clove garlic |
1 | md | Onion, cut in wedges |
10 3/4 | oz | Cream of broccoli soup |
1/4 | c | Water |
1 | tb | Soy sauce |
2 | c | Broccoli flowerets |
| | Hot cooked noodles |
1. Slice beef across the grain into very thin strips. 2. In a skillet over
medium high heat, in hot oil, cook beef and garlic until beef is browned.
Add onion. Cook 5 minutes, stirring often. 3. Stir in soup, water and soy
sauce. Heat to boiling. Add broccoli, reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer
5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve over hot noodles. Makes 4
servings. Note: to make slicing beef easier, freeze for one before cutting.
