Title: Red Cabbage with Apples

2 | lb | Red cabbage, shredded |
3/4 | c | Boiling water |
3 | lg | Cooking apples, sliced |
3 | tb | Butter or margarine, melted |
1/4 | c | Vinegar |
1 1/2 | ts | Flour |
1/4 | c | Packed brown sugar |
2 | ts | Salt |
ds | Pepper |
Place cabbage in a large saucepan. Add boiling water. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add apples. Cook 10 mintues more or until tender. Add remaining ingredients and heat through.
