1 | lb | Steak, round |
2 | x | Green pepper, sliced |
2 | x | Tomato, quarter |
4 | x | Onion, chopped |
4 | tb | Soy sauce |
1 | c | Bean sprout |
1/4 | c | Butter |
1/2 | ts | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Cornstarch |
1 | | Garlic, minced, clove |
1/4 | ts | Pepper |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
2 | tb | Water |
Slice steak thinly in short cross- wise pieces. Heat butter in skillet and
add garlic, salt and pepper. Add beef and brown on both sides. Add soy
sauce and sugar; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add rinsed sprouts,
tomatoes and green peppers; cover and simmer 5 minutes. Dissolve corn
starch in water and stir in. Stir until sauce thickens. Sprinkle with
onions and serve on rice.
