Title: Rhubarb Steak Sauce

8 | c | Chopped fresh or frozen rhubarb |
4 | c | Chopped onion |
2 | c | Vinegar |
2 1/3 | c | Packed brown sugar |
1 | ts | Ground cinnamon |
1 | ts | Ground allspice |
1/2 | ts | Ground cloves |
1 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Pepper |
In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Cool. Refrigerate in covered containers.
