Title: Fish and Chicken Batter

1 | c | Flour |
1/2 | ts | Sugar |
1 | Egg | |
1 | c | Ice water |
2 | tb | Oil |
1 | ts | Garlic powder |
2 | lb | Fish, chicken, or shrimp |
Combine first six ingredients and beat well. Dry meat well. Dip into batter and deep fry. Note: be sure water is ice cold or the batter won't stick to meat.
