Title: Sweet Potato Cake

Yield: 1 Cake

  1 lb. sweet potatoes
  1/2 c. water
  1 small tin Argo Oil
1/4 Lb. grated ginger
1/2 Ts. salt
  1 c. cane syrup
1/4 Ts. soda

Peel and wash potatoes; then grate and place in pan. Grate ginger, mix in potatoes, and add oil. Add syrup and mix well. Add soda and salt. Grease pan. Add oil to pan and then put in the mixture. Bake in moderate oven until done.
