2 | lb | Ground beef |
3/4 | c | Crushed corn flakes |
1 | ts | Parsley flakes |
2 | | Egg |
2 | tb | Soy sauce |
1/2 | c | Ketchup |
2 | tb | Onion finely diced |
1/3 | ts | Salt |
SAUCE |
1 | cn | (16-oz) jellied cranberry sauce |
1 | | Bottle (12-oz) chili sauce |
2 | tb | Brown sugar |
1 | tb | Lemon juice |
Mix ground beef, corn flakes, parsley, eggs, soy sauce, ketchup, onions and
salt thoroughly and form into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place on 10 x 15 inch jelly
roll pan. Cover with sauce and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or brown
meatballs in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes, then place in crockpot with
sauce. Cover and cook on low 4- 6 hours or on high 2 hours. SAUCE: In
saucepan combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar and lemon juice.
Cook while stirring over medium heat until smooth.
