Title: Elvis' Oatmeal Meatloaf

Yield: 8 Servings
2 | Green peppers; diced | |
1/2 | ts | Black pepper |
2 | md | Onions; diced |
1/2 | ts | Garlic powder |
2 | lg | Eggs; lightly beaten |
1/4 | ts | Onion powder |
1 | lb | Bulk sausage meat |
1 | c | Rolled oats |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 1/2 | c | Hunt's ketchup |
Heat oven to 375. Combine all the ingredients except 1/2 c of the ketchup in a large mixing bowl. Mix well and shape into a nice, even loaf. Place t he loaf in a shallow baking dish and top with the remaining ketchup. Bake f or 90 min. or until well-done. Makes 8 to 10 servings. There's one song El vis NEVER sang when his chef brought this meatloaf to the table: "Return t o Sender". It's said that this was a favorite party dish at Graceland.
