Title: Three-Grain Bread

2 | tb | Barley (regular) |
1/2 | c | Rolled oats (regular) |
3/4 | c | Milk plus 2 tb |
1 1/2 | ts | Shortening |
1 | c | Bread flour |
2/3 | c | Whole wheat flour |
2 | ts | Brown sugar |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 | ts | Yeast |
Spread barley in a shallow baking pan. BAke in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes, stirring once or twice. Let barley cool. Place the barley and rolled oats in a blender container. Cover and blend until the mixture is the consistency of flour. Add ingredients to machine according to manufacturer's directions.
