1/4 | c | Honey, * |
2 | tb | 2t veg. shortening. * |
1/4 | c | Water, |
1 | ts | Salt, |
1 | | Cornmeal mixture, |
2 1/2 | c | Bread flour |
1 | tb | Yeast in the bread machine |
3/4 | c | Cranberries; chopped |
*In separate bowl mix. Allow this mixture to cool to 110 degrees (lukewarm,
or cooler if you have a Zoji) I just made a great cranberry yeast bread in
my BM today.
I have a Zoji, but I'm sure the recipe would work in any BM. I adapted
this from a recipe published in The Baker's Sheet by King Arthur's flour.
(In the proper order for your machin cycle if your machine has it and add
3/4 C of coarsely chopped cranberries when you ordinarily would add
raisins. This bread came out great I can't wait to try it toasted tomorrow
for breakfast with orange marmalade!!! Hope you enjoy Caryn in Phila. FROM:
