1/4 | c | Water for the Welbilt machine,add 1 tb more water |
1 1/2 | c | Bread flour |
3/4 | c | Rye flour |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 | tb | Shortening |
1 1/2 | tb | Brown sugar |
1 1/2 | tb | Molasses |
| | Grated rind of 1/2 orange - optional |
1 | ts | Caraway seeds |
2 | ts | RED STAR active dry yeast for all machines |
1 1/2 LB. LOAF |
3/4 | c | Flat beer |
3/8 | c | Water - for Welbilt/Dak add 1 tbsp. more water |
2 1/2 | c | Bread flour |
1 | c | Rye flour |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 1/2 | tb | Shortening |
2 | tb | Brown sugar |
2 | tb | Molasses |
| | Grated rind of 1 orange - Optional |
2 | ts | Caraway seeds |
3 | ts | Red Star active dry yeast - for 1 1/2 lb. Panasonic/ Nationa |
Place all the ingredients in bread pan. select a light crust setting,
and press "start".
After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on caek rack,
and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing.
