Title: Marilyn's Everyday Health Bread

Yield: 1 Loaf
1 1/2 POUND LOAF |
1 1/4 | c | Water |
1 1/2 | c | Whole wheat flour |
1 1/2 | c | Bread flour |
1/2 | c | Whole grains* |
1 1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 1/2 | tb | Butter; or margerine |
3 | tb | Sugar |
1 1/2 | tb | Nonfat dry milk powder |
2 | ts | Red Star yeast |
Place all ingredients in bread pan, press light crust setting, and press
start. After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake
rack, and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing. *The 1/2c whole grains could
be: 1/2c oats; 1/4c oats and 1/4c miller's bran; 2T each miller's bran,
oats, cracked wheat, and oat bran; or any amount of various grains equal to
1/2c. Book's Note: A create your own recipe, this is a good one for using
up those odds and ends of various grains you may have on hand. Our friend
Marilyn gave us this recipe. She owns a bread machine too, and this is the
